-Access to local food suppliers to start the change.
-Helps keep smaller businesses in business

-----Tell Everyone/ Be Everywhere-------
ReplyDeleteJill's Site - Drinking & Driving
Poster/ flyer featured on site is great way of getting message to everyone. Good that you have it on the site so it reinforces the message.
This is a big issue so a blog would be good to include on the site.
Spread your site around the web, include link banners on other sites related to your issue, such as bars in the neighborhood.
Britanny's Site - Animal Adoption
Good use of links and stories to tell everyone.
Addition of a blog under "Stories" would be effective way of getting word of mouth out about site.
"Solutions" has potential for getting people together to meet the animals in person like a social group or in an organized event.
Jesse - Sustainable Farming
This site needs a blog to allow people to share their discoveries of where to buy locally grown food.
Map will be an effective tool for spreading the message of where to access local food.
A flyer promoting the message of the site should be featured on the site in order to reinforce the message.

ReplyDeleteJillian (Drinking and Driving)
ReplyDelete- Good use of black and white text, gets across the harshness of the message
- Images should be less "cutesy" to show the seriousness of the problem
- Maybe change fonts to better suit the topic
- Make main figure less ambiguous
Brittany (Animal Adoption)
-Metaphor: tie it into the issue a bit more (make it clearer), so that audience can connect to it
-Uses stories to help people understand adoption and its positive side
Jesse (Sustainable Farming)
-Strong use of metaphor, works well
-Rearrange the links on the main page, making "solution" more prominent
-Use flash menu to make it more interactive
Dave Lee - Homeless into Cleaners
ReplyDelete- better flash work
